REPORT ON KANNADA KALARAVA QUIZ COMPETITION

Respected Sir,
I am pleased to submit the report on the Kannada Kalarava Quiz Competition 2025-26 held at ALG Crescent School, Madikeri on 20 November 2025.
Our school cadets - Cdt Unnatesh (Class X-C)

Cdt Krishna Aluru (Class X-A)
Cdt Yashas (Class X-B)
represented Sainik School Kodagu and participated actively in the competition.
A total of eight schools from the Brahmagiri Sahodaya Cluster took part in the event.
The quiz consisted of 10 + 1 rounds, and in every round, our cadets showcased exceptional performance, creativity, confidence, and talent. Their consistent efforts and teamwork led to an excellent outcome.
I am proud to report that:
Sainik School Kodagu secured the First Position
Kodagu Vidyalaya secured the Second Position
KVGIPS Sullia secured the Third Position

On 20th August 2025, the District Health & Family Welfare Department, Madikeri, organized a District Level Quiz Competition on HIV/AIDS Awareness for high school students. The event was aimed at spreading knowledge and sensitizing young minds about general health, personal hygiene, the National Health Mission, government health schemes, significant national health days, and awareness about HIV/AIDS. Cadet Shriyash Ghadage (Roll No. 1426) and Cadet Pranav Rao (Roll No. 1402) of Class X represented Sainik School Kodagu, who showcased outstanding brilliance in the competition. With their sharp presence of mind, excellent recall ability, and remarkable teamwork, they sailed through the thought-provoking rounds with confidence and determination. Competing against teams from several reputed schools across Kodagu District, our cadets displayed exemplary performance and emerged Champions, securing the First Position. Along with this remarkable achievement, they were awarded a cash prize of ₹6000 and, more importantly, earned the prestigious opportunity to represent Kodagu District at the upcoming State Level Quiz Competition. This proud achievement not only highlights the talent and hard work of our cadets but also reflects the school’s commitment to nurturing awareness and responsibility among students in vital areas of health and social welfare.
