Kannada and English Recitation Competition for the year 2017-18 was conducted on 21 July 2017. Dr Richard Vincent D’Souza, District Commissioner and District Magistrate, Kodagu District graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Gp Capt RR Lall, Principal, Lt Col Manisha Sharma, Vice Principal, Sqdn Ldr D Matthew, Administrative Officer, faculty members and staff members were also present on the occasion. There were eight and sixteen participants in the Kannada and English Recitation Competition respectively.

Inter-House Football Match

It’s a very happy coincidence that while football is in the air in our country right now, Sainik School Kodagu too had its Inter House Football (Seniors) match between Subroto House and Cariappa House on 10 Jul 2017. Watching a football match is always a thrilling, adrenalin rushing experience. We noticed some neat touches, some intelligent positioning and very impressive speed. Cariappa House tried every trick but in vain. Subroto House was the winner and declared ‘Football Champions 2017-18’. So, come on, do scroll through the pictures above and Let’s Football!!!!

Inter House English Debate Competition for senior and junior category was conducted on 30 June 2017 at Dr S Radhakrishnan Hall. All the House participants presented their views for and against the proposition. The topic for Junior House cadets was “School Kills Creativity” and Senior cadets were asked to speak on the topic“ Peer Pressure : Good or Bad?”. Cariappa House adjudged the champion House of the Inter House English Debate Competition for the year 2017-18. The results of the competition are:
